At Friday Flats, we have done much to encourage trust between guests and hosts. E-mail addresses and phone numbers are verified. Properties are reviewed, and reviews cannot be removed by the host. Appropriate profile photos are expected of both guests and hosts. Connecting your Friday Flats account with your Facebook profile increases your credibility.
You can use either PayPal or a credit card (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, and Discover). All payments are made in euros (€).
Like most modern digital services, payments are verified in an external service, and we do not, for example, store your credit card information. An authorisation is made on your account upon booking. You are only debited once the host confirms your booking; payment is immediate on instant booking properties. If the booking request expires, is cancelled or is declined, the authorisation is voided and your account will not be charged. Hosts receive their payment for a confirmed booking two days after the booking period begins.
Booking off-site is a risk for both guests and hosts. Friday Flats provides a secure environment, where both can receive restitution in fraudulent cases.

Print or save your booking details
It’s good to have your booking details on hand as you travel to your destination. The host’s phone number is vital, as you may need it in case of, for example, being late for your scheduled arrival time. The map and street address help you find where to go.
Remember to be considerate of not just the neighbours, but also your host – especially if they are the property owner. In services that are based on a sharing economy, like Friday Flats, customer complaints are extremely rare.
Keep it clean
Leave the property as you found it, especially if the payment does not include a cleaning fee. You are, after all, staying in someone’s own home.
Make a note of surprises
...upon arrival. Photos are preferred. If the photos, equipment and description you have seen are not representative of the apartment, please contact us.
Cancellation and refunds
If you are a guest and wish to cancel your booking, e-mail us at email@example.com. The cancellation policies of specific properties are available on their page. Your options are:
100% if the guest cancels their reservation up to one week before the start of the stay
50% if the guest cancels their reservation up to two days before the start of the stay
100% if the guest cancels their reservation up to one month before the start of the stay
